A step-by-step glimpse into the traditional rituals, mantra chanting, paath and havan performed as part of this elaborate Devi Puja. Each phase is conducted according to the Puja Vidhi, moving from Sankalp and Devata Sthapana to extensive Paath, 1,25,000 Mantra Jaap, Havan, Shringar and final Aarti.

Please Note: Each Puja follows its own traditional Vidhi. Mantra Jaap, Paath, Abhishek, Havan and other rituals may vary according to the Puja and Sankalp. This gallery is only to give you a glimpse of our Puja process and the scale of rituals performed.

Phase 1 - Sankalp & Purva Puja

The Puja begins with Sankalp, Ganesh Puja, Kalash Puja and Matrika Puja, establishing the intention of the Yajman and invoking divine blessings before the main rituals commence.

Phase 2 - Maa Durga Sthapana & Abhishek

This phase includes Maa Durga Pran Pratishtha, followed by Panchamrit Abhishek and Kumkum Archana, performed with devotion as part of the formal worship of Maa Durga.

Phase 3 - Navgraha & Rudra Puja

Navgraha Puja is performed for the nine planetary energies, followed by Ishanya Rudra Puja, forming an important part of the preparatory rituals before the main Devi Paath.

Phase 4 -  Nav Chandi Paath Recitation

The priests perform Nav Chandi Paath – 10 complete recitations, invoking the different manifestations and energies of Maa Durga through the verses of Durga Saptashati.

Phase 5 -  Maa Katyayani Mantra Jaap (Mantra Chanting)

A major part of the Puja consists of 1.25 Lakh Maa Katyayani Mantra Jaap, performed systematically by the appointed priests according to the prescribed Sankalp.

Phase 6 - Maha Havan (Fire Ritual)

The Havan includes offerings for the Maa Durga Saptashati Paath, along with Dashansh Havan — 10% of the total Maa Katyayani Mantra Jaap count.

Phase 7 — Maa Durga Shringar, Bhajan & Aarti

The Puja concludes with Maa Durga Shringar, Bhajan, Aarti and final prayers, followed by the formal completion of the Sankalp and Puja.
